Wolves: Ep 4
From "Animal", to "Shoulder to Shoulder", to "Say the Word", to "Freaky" Pop / Soul Artist Wolves has been impressing us at KGUP FM Emerge Radio ever since they got on our radar nearly 4 years ago. Their music has yet to disappoint. They've performed all over the Los Angeles Area and we were fortunate enough to see them live at The Satellite before the lockdown. You might recognize their music from the hit NBC TV show Songland Season 2, NBA games on TNT, All American on the CW, Chevrolet commercials, Huffington Post, AND you might also recognize them from the TV show Family Business on BET.

Chelsea Perkins: Ep 5
Pop Artist, Chelsea Perkins joins Mikey Jayy on KGUP PRESENTS to talk about her new music and her new sound since joining the team at 83 Sound and discuss how Covid-19 has affected her family and personal life. KGUP FM Emerge Radio has been a friend of Chelsea since 2013 when we played her award winning single "Forbidden Fruit". Fast forward to 2020, Chelsea is now with her new label and she has released several amazing songs. We currently have "Right Now" and "Fanny Pack" on rotation.

Llynks: Ep 6 (out Sept. 4)
Mikey Jayy of KGUP PRESENTS meets with Sara Kendall of Llynks to talk about the metamorphosis of her journey and her new album entitled "Become the Root". Originally from Massachusetts, Sara studied at Berklee School of Music, worked as a model in New York City, then began making music. Now residing in Austin, TX, Sara discusses her new album, the name change, and the direction of her music under her new name.

Mike Hill Bass with Special Guest Jeff Cazanov of Rock Cellar Magazine: Ep 7 (out Sept. 7)
Since 2011, Rock Cellar Magazine has been featuring news, upcoming releases, and interviews with legendary artists including Gene Simons, Ringo Star, Carlos Santana, David Cosby, Steven Tyler and so many more over the years. Recently, Mike Hill Bass, musician and the genius behind the Love and War Film and EP, joined the RCM team and launched the "Independent Artist Program" earlier this year to help and promote local based artists. This is when KGUP PRESENTS took interest. Founder Mikey Jayy sit down with Mike Hill Bass and Jeff Cazanov of Rock Cellar Magazine to talk about Mike's amazing career over the last 15 years as a professional bassist, but also talk about what led him to being a successful musician to working with RCM. Mike also gives very detailed tips on how to reach any Kickstarter goal. This is a priceless episode that all up-and-coming music artists and music lovers need to listen to.
