SEASON IV
ABOUT THE ARTISTS IN MUSIC AWARDS
Established in 2011, the Artists In Music Awards was created to honor and recognize the most talented and gifted artists in music.
Over the years, this tradition has evolved beyond the recognition of a singular art form with a desire to encompass all areas of Arts & Entertainment including recognizing gifted youth.
On April 28, 2014, Artists In Music Awards went through a major change by working underneath the Siqueiros Foundation of the Arts, which made it possible to include all areas of the Arts including the visual arts, television, film, photography, and literature. Under the Siqueiros Foundation, AIMA will award scholarships to Youth and provide award money to its award recipients.
AIMA collects membership dues from its participants on behalf of SFOTA. Each member can elect to enter as a member and as an Award Nominee to compete in the Annual Awards Ceremony. 100% of all funds collected by the AIMA goes to the Foundation.
Under the Siqueiros Foundation of the Arts, this is not only a new chapter for the Artists In Music Awards, but an exciting opportunity for all artists and the Community to be apart of.
As a member of the AIMA and SFOTA comes with special privileges including exclusive access to special events, workshops, discounts on premiere affiliated art exhibits and award events, plus voting privileges on AIMA categories.
WHAT SETS US APART?
Our integrity. The Artists In Music Awards isn't controlled by one person, nor is it about artists who have million fans in their social media networks. It is about the Community, Art, and the enrichment of our Youth. Our organization recognizes and honors the best in Arts & Entertainment.
No other independent awards organization of its kind has given recognition to all areas of Art and has showcased it during one single event. During the Season IV finale, the AIMA will be first non-commercial awards event to showcase feature length films, host an art exhibit, and have live bands all during a single event held during the awards ceremony.
